Goins Digital LLC Effective Date: July 29, 2026 Last Updated: July 29, 2026

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Goins Digital LLC ("Goins Digital," "we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Durham, North Carolina, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website and products, including but not limited to:

  • Truckers Shield — financial operating system for owner-operators
  • Fleet Shield — fleet-level financial intelligence platform
  • Shippers Report (shippers.report) — crowdsourced facility intelligence platform
  • TJ Learn — trucking education platform
  • Bull City Pulse — Durham civic and business intelligence platform
  • Eli Grooming OS — financial operating system for grooming businesses
  • Think Local and related local-business marketing services
  • Ann, our AI assistant available on this site
  • The goins.digital website generally

We refer to all of the above collectively as the "Services." Certain Services (e.g., Shippers Report) may maintain their own separate or supplemental privacy notice on their own domain; where that is the case, that notice governs use of that specific Service to the extent it conflicts with this one.

By using any of our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several categories of information, depending on which Services you use.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name, business type, and password (stored securely — see Section 6).
  • Business and financial information (Truckers Shield, Fleet Shield, Eli Grooming OS): load data, settlement statements, rate confirmations, revenue, expenses, tax-related figures, and other financial records you upload, forward, or enter for the purpose of generating financial calculations, reports, and dispute letters.
  • Fleet and driver information (Fleet Shield): driver names, truck/unit identifiers, and related operational data entered by a fleet administrator.
  • Location and facility data (Shippers Report): reviews, wait-time reports, check-ins, and facility information you submit.
  • Communications: messages sent through contact forms, our AI assistant Ann, the Think Local demo tool, or direct correspondence with us.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not directly store full credit card numbers on our own servers (see Section 4).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs, and general interaction data.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar technical identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 8.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations

Where you affirmatively connect a third-party account or service (for example, an ELD provider or fuel card provider within Fleet Shield), we collect and store the credentials or tokens necessary to retrieve data on your behalf, and the operational data returned by that integration (e.g., mileage, fuel purchases, location pings tied to ELD hardware). You control which integrations are connected and may disconnect them at any time. We only pull data from a third-party integration that you have explicitly authorized.

2.4 Information Generated Through AI Features

Certain features (including Ann and the Think Local live demo tool) send information you provide — such as a business name, business type, or a description of your business — to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, PBC) in order to generate a response, sample content, or analysis. See Section 5 for details on this processing. Do not submit sensitive personal information, financial account numbers, social security numbers, or health information into any AI chat or demo feature.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services you use;
  • Generate financial calculations, load verdicts, settlement audits, dispute letters, and reports within Truckers Shield, Fleet Shield, and Eli Grooming OS;
  • Generate marketing content, sample reports, and demo output within Think Local;
  • Operate Ann and respond to your inquiries;
  • Process payments and manage billing, including through Stripe;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests, including through Resend (our email delivery provider);
  • Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Services;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party vendors to operate our Services, including Supabase (database/hosting infrastructure), Vercel (hosting and serverless functions), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic, PBC (AI processing — see Section 5). These providers process data on our behalf under their own applicable terms and security practices, and are only given the access necessary to perform their function.
  • Fleet and multi-tenant relationships: If you are a driver, sub-user, or employee operating under a fleet account (Fleet Shield) or a business partner account (Eli Grooming OS), the administrator of that account may have visibility into data associated with your use of the Service, consistent with the account structure you agreed to when joining that fleet or business.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers: If Goins Digital is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy of which you will be notified.

We do not share your financial data, driver data, or business data with unrelated third parties for advertising purposes.

5. AI Processing Disclosure

Some of our Services use artificial intelligence models provided by Anthropic, PBC ("Anthropic") to generate content, analysis, or conversational responses. This includes:

  • Ann, our website AI assistant;
  • Think Local's live content demo, which sends the business name, business type, and optional description you enter to Anthropic's API to generate sample marketing content;
  • Certain document-parsing features within Truckers Shield and Fleet Shield (e.g., AI-assisted parsing of settlement statements and rate confirmations you forward to us).

When you use these features, the information you submit is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing and a response is returned to you. We do not use this data to train Anthropic's underlying models, and Anthropic's own data handling for API usage is governed by Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit training on API inputs/outputs by default as of this writing. Nonetheless, you should not submit information you would not want processed by a third-party AI system, and demo/sample content generated by these tools (such as Think Local's sample performance report) is illustrative only and does not reflect real account data unless explicitly labeled as such.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and access controls on our backend infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal and business information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 9, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements (for example, we may be required to retain certain financial or tax-related records for a statutory period even after account closure).

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies beyond what is necessary to operate the Services.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Opt out of certain uses of your information;
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

California residents: You may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of certain sensitive personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" (as defined under CPRA) personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Other states: Residents of certain other states with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah) may have similar rights under applicable state law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed at, nor knowingly used by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Multi-Tenant and Business Account Data

Several of our Services operate on a multi-tenant or partner basis:

  • Fleet Shield: A fleet administrator's account may include data on multiple drivers/units associated with that fleet. Drivers using Fleet Shield under a fleet account should understand that fleet administrators have visibility into operational and financial data associated with their trucks, consistent with standard fleet management practice.
  • Eli Grooming OS: Operates similarly for grooming business partners and their locations.
  • Think Local / local business services: If you engage Goins Digital for marketing services (social media, SEO, flyers, reporting), we collect and use information about your business as necessary to provide those services, and may access third-party accounts (e.g., social media, Google Business Profile) that you explicitly grant us access to for that purpose.

12. Data Transfers

Our Services are operated from and hosted within the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
